Opening doors and holding them
We're all strong and healthy and should all be more careful to open the door and, more importantly, to hold the door open, for people following us. We should hold the door for older people, women trying to open the door and hold a baby while watching toddlers, the UPS man with lots of boxes, and just to be nice.
When you just open the door and don't intentionally more around to hold it open, you are left in a very awkward situation. You either need to continue walking, handing the heavy door to the person behind you, or you stand there holding the door, but so "in the way" that the person behind you can't get by.
So I propose that we all be gentleman ninjas, or pirates.
Of course, we've always known there were gentleman pirates.

Birthday Salmon
YAY!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to say that tomorrow is my birthday.
I just wanted to say that tomorrow is my birthday.
Polly the Parrot
Once upon a time there was a parrot.
This parrot was owned by a pirate named Finny McRonald.
One day Finny McRonald was out digging for treasure and his parrot, who's name was Polly, took command of the ship and sailed away on a quest to look for crackers.
After sailing for 2 weeks Polly came to a French town and decided to stop and visit the governor.
The governor introdused Polly to his daughter, and his daughter asked Polly to go to the ball with her.
Polly said "OK." and they went to the ball.
At the ball Polly danced (not very well.) with the governor's daughter and dipped her.
After the ball the governor's daughter gave Polly 3 presents to choose from.
The presents were a pistol, a silk fencing shirt, and a purple hat with a white feather in it.
Polly chose the hat because it was the only thing she could use.
After 3 more weeks Polly went back to the island to get Finny McRonald because Polly couldn't find any crackers.
When Polly went back to the island she found Finny and some of his crew sitting next to a treasure chest eating crackers!
Polly jumped for joy and flew over and ate 47 crackers and fell asleep.
The moral of this story is: If your owner is digging up treasure you should wait for him.

Gertrude the Possum Baby
Once upon a time there was a little possum baby named Gertrude. Unlike her brothers and sisters, Gertrude was very bossy and was always telling her mom where to go and what to do. In humans, this is sometimes called "backseat driving", but Gertrude liked to ride in front, on top of her mom's head instead.
The End.
